The meeting was conversational like the wide range of various reports. I speculate the Booth interviews differ a piece contingent upon who you get as the questioner. I was expecting more questions around Why MBA, Why Booth, Goals, and so on” from different reports, however, most of the meeting time (my interview lasted 30+mins) was spent on conduct questions for my situation. About 10mins was spent on Why MBA, Why Booth, and so on and there was some time eventually for my round of questions.

  1. Introduction about me
  2. Why MBA, why now, why Chicago Booth (what differentiates it from other programs)?
  3. What sort of opportunities you’re hoping to take advantage of at Booth?
  4. What sort of classes outside your field of interest are you hoping to sit in?
  5. Questions about my cross functional roles
  6. What are you concerned most about attending an MBA next year (generally and at Booth) and why?
  7. What was your primary source of information about Booth?
  8. Any questions for me?

The session was conversational and resume-based and went on for around 40 minutes. The interviewer, who is situated in place, was around 10 minutes late, so the meeting didn’t begin as easily as I was trusting it to begin, yet I stayed cool and comprehended the circumstance.

  1. Tell me about yourself.
  2. Follow up questions on my job.
  3. Why MBA?
  4. Would I want to join a startup or a more mature company?
  5. Long-term career role?
  6. Which resources at Booth would you use to help with your career path?
  7. Tell me about a difficult situation.
  8. Questions for me?
