I recently appeared for the interview for the International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX) at IIM Lucknow. he panel was interested in understanding my career journey and the roles I have handled so far. Following this, they asked me several questions related to current affairs and the economy, such as the GDP of India and the main sectors contributing to it. They also probed my knowledge of basic finance concepts, including the differences between a balance sheet and an income statement.
An unexpected but interesting question involved Class 12 level mathematics – I was asked to calculate the height of the Qutub Minar based on the length of its shadow. This tested my analytical thinking on the spot.
