This is an intensive, highly valuable program which provides a fundamental understanding of business as well as the skills important in a career exploration. Specific instruction is given in management, finance, accounting, and information technology through faculty members.

Who can apply?
Undergraduates, graduate students, or professionals who are working towards or have their undergraduate degree in liberal arts or science or a graduate degree in a non-business field can apply to this program. It is available in three formats mentioned below.

Summer Residential
Offered mid-May to late June in Charlottesville, with approximately 100 students from colleges and universities around the world. Assembles from Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. The 2022 program runs from Oct 1, 2022, to Mar 7, 2022.
Applications due is on Jan 12, 2022. Scholarship applications due is on April 1, 2022.
Online
This a 15-week, accelerated online business certificate program ideal for students unable to attend in-classroom sessions, recent grads, and working professionals. Below mentioned are the three start dates for : January, May, and August.
Late applications will not be permitted under any circumstances. Please note the deadline is at noon; submit the application ahead of time.
- You may start working on your application on Oct. 1, 2021.
- You may submit your application starting on Oct. 15, 2021.
- Applications must be submitted by noon on Jan. 12, 2022.
- Decisions will be released via email the afternoon of Feb. 28, 2022.
- Students will have until noon, March 7, 2022, to accept or decline their offer.
